Safe Needle Devices.
Portland’s manufacturing facilities are licensed
by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)
to produce surgical needles for the Australian market.
Over the past 20 years Portland has established a reputation
for its comprehensive range of speciality hypodermic
needles and innovative surgical products like their
Underwater Chest Drainage Systems incorporating the
patented “ThoraValve”.
In order to access all the major world markets Portland
is in the process of validating its clean room assembly
lines for “C.E. Marking”. These tests are
an essential step in the company taking its products
into the European market. It is also a requirement in
the process of F.D.A. Approval for the United States
Markets.
